Dedicated Listener and Devoted Tootie Fruity Amy W recently contacted me with what I will call a “Facts Fan Find!”
In her own words: “One criticism of the TV show that I haven’t heard mentioned on LFTF, is that Jo, being a tomboy — with those lovely nails! Always a manicure; long, and painted nails. Nancy often hide her nails in pockets, curling her fingers in, or crossing her arms. Does anyone else notice this? … I wanted to mention this to you in hopes I am not the only fan who has noticed this distraction. I wish the producers (or whomever) told Nancy to get fake nails, and remove them when filming. It breaks her ‘tough street kid’ character each time I see those glamorous nails.”
Well, I had NEVER noticed this! So I asked Amy to send some screen grabs, and sure enough she did!
